Top 10 DIY Makeup Storage Tips!



So its that time again!
Sorting out the dreaded makeup box...

If, like me you have so much makeup your literally swimming in it then I have devised some of the best Do It Yourself make up storage ideas!





1. Lipstick/gloss pot pyramid!

This way you can sort between shade, brand, gloss or lipstick and the essential lip balms for those cold winters and dry lips! So easy anyone could do it! Use as many pots as you need (6 works well for the pyramid effect) and you could glue them or use double sided stick squares to attach them together so none of them fall. Decorate the jars how you like but I find the best is keeping them clear so you get a great view of all your fantastic lip colours!


2.  Cakestand nail varnish display!

Simple! Use any pot and fill with beads or sand to help your brushes stand up. I've found that separating my face brushes from my eye and lip brushes looks better and helps me so much more! You can colour coordinate to match your room too!

Absolutely fantastic way to store all of your big items. This can be attached to the back of your bedroom door or even to a wall. Perfect for hair tongs, curling irons, hair dryers, brushes and the other bulky thing taking up all of your valuable drawer space!


5. Magnetic makeup board!

Store all of your palette tins using a magnetic board! This could also be used to attach metal buckets for extra storage too! Jazz it up by using a fancy frame for the outside of your board!


6. Spice rack!

This may be a little more expensive to purchase and you would definitely need the room for it but you have to admit, it looks absolutely fantastic and has enough space to organise everything perfectly!
